You are invited to an oven building party!
At the Flatbread Company we make all natural pizza baked in a primitive
wood-fired earthen oven. The earthen ovens that we make have a stone base
with an earthen dome made up of clay, hay, ash and sand. It is this clay, hay,
ash and sand mixture that we build a party around. We ask the community
surrounding the restaurant to help us make the mud bricks that we lay over a
frame of fresh cut alder saplings. It's messy, it's fun and your work will stand
for years and years. Who can participate? Anyone from ages 2 to 100.

This will happen on Saturday, January 21, 2006 at 9:00AM and will go
on all day long. If you want to join in on the fun and be listed forever as
a Bedford Flatbread oven builder, then be here at 9:00AM!
